Get Out: Easter Egg Hunt, Brunch and Worship

Celebrate Easter weekend with your family and friends. Attend an Easter egg hunt, get pictures with the bunny or enjoy brunch or dinner to keep busy this holiday weekend.

 

Celebrate Easter by participating in a community Easter egg hunt with friends and neighbors at Princeton Presbyterian Church. Create your own holiday decorations to share with your family at Michaels and by sure to stop by the Springfield Mall for your last chance to get a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Reserve your table for Springfield Country Club's famous Easter dinner or buffet. Easter Sunday Services are available at Princeton Presbyterian, Springfield Baptist Church and St. Kevin's Church

Easter Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Where: Princeton Presbyterian Church, 933 Baltimore Pike

Why Go: Princeton Presbyterian Church invites the Springfield community to an Easter egg hunt event. All children are welcome to attend. In addition to the hunt there will also be Easter activities as well as a special story for your holiday enjoyment.

Price: Free

Easter Bunny at the Springfield Mall

When: Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Where: Springfield Mall, 1250 Baltimore Pike

Why Go: The Easter Bunny will be available for visits at the Springfield Mall this weekend. Bunny photos will take place in the center court on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.; break times will be 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. 

Price: Open to the public, photo package deals are available 

Mini Egg Event

When: Saturday, April 7 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Where: Michaels, 601 Baltimore Pike

Why Go: Michaels Arts & Crafts is hosting a mini egg event for children ages three and up. Celebrate the holiday by making your own customizable egg to share.

Price: Free

Easter Bunny Brunch

When: Sunday, April 8 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Where: Springfield Country Club, 400 W. Sproul Rd.

Why Go: Enjoy Springfield Country Club's famous Easter Brunch with the Easter Bunny! A champagne, mimosa, and Bloody Mary bar will be available as well as smoked salmon, prime rib, ham, stuffed shells, a gourmet chocolate fountain and more. Reservations are required. 

Price: Adults: $27.95, Children 12 & Under: $14.95 and Children 2 & Under: Free

Easter Dinner Buffet

When: Sunday, April 8 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Where: Springfield Country Club, 400 W. Sproul Rd.

Why Go: Springfield Country Club is hosting an Easter Dinner Buffet.  The dinner menu will include homemade mashed potatoes, prime rib, ham, turkey with stuffing, tilapia with bruschetta sauce, pasta Alfredo, a dessert bar and more. Reservations are required. 

Price: Adults: $32.95, Children 12 & Under: $16.95 and Children 2 & Under: Free
