'The Wizard of Oz' Opening Night Dinner
When: Friday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m., other show times include Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m.
Where: 112 Saxer Ave.
Why Go: The St. Francis Players will be performing the theater production of The Wizard of Oz Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Tickets for the opening night (Friday) will include an open bar and dinner. To buy tickets by phone, call 610-544-5992.

Friends of Springfield Library Spring Book Sale
When: Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 from noon until 3 p.m.

- Springfield High School Boys Varsity track team will compete at Haverford High School on Friday, April 20 at 3:30 p.m.
- Springfield High School Girls Varsity track team will host a Novice Meet on Friday, April 20 at 3:45 p.m. The meet will be at SHS.
Baseball
- Springfield High School Boys Freshman baseball team hosts Lower Merion High School on Friday, April 20 at 3:45 p.m. The game will take place at Veterans Memorial Park.
Lacrosse
- Springfield High School Girls Varsity lacrosse team will compete against West Chester East High School on Saturday, April 21 at 11 a.m. SHS will host the event.
- Springfield High School Girls Junior Varsity lacrosse team will compete against West Chester East High School on Saturday, April 21 at 12:30 p.m. SHS will host the event.
- Springfield High School Boys Varsity lacrosse team will compete against Downingtown High School East Campus on Saturday, April 21 at noon. SHS will host the event.
- Springfield High School Boys Junior Varsity lacrosse team will compete against Downingtown High School East Campus on Saturday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. SHS will host the event.
