Get Out: Introduce Your Pet to Santa, Create A Wreath
Make decorations, cards and spend time with your family, friends and neighbors as you prepare for the Christmas holiday.

Make a wreath for your home at Smedley Park or decorate with the kids at Michaels' Arts and Crafts. Share a lunch with your neighbors and even get a picture of your pet with Santa.

Why Go: Michaels' Arts and Crafts is hosting passport to imagination events throughout the month of December. Children can take the opportunity to discover different holiday traditions. Make a reindeer frame between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., followed by letter writing to Santa from 12 p.m. till 2 p.m.

ACDC Hosts Pet Pictures with Santa
When: Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec.11 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Where: PetSmart, 400 S. State Rd.
Why Go: The Animal Coalition of Delaware County (ACDC) is hosting "Pictures With Santa." Get your pets' picture taken with Santa for a great holiday card. A portion of the photography fee is donated to ACDC.

When: Sunday, Dec. 11 at 12:15 p.m.
Where: Princeton Presbyterian Church, 933 Baltimore Pike
Why Go: Princeton Presbyterian Church is hosting a potluck lunch following their service on Sunday. Bring your favorite holiday side dish, salad or dessert to share! Christmas carols will begin after the meal.

- Springfield High School's Girls Varsity swimming teams will compete at Haverford High School on Friday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.
- Springfield High School's Girls Varsity basketball team hosts Penn Wood Senior High School for the Tip-Off Tournament on Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The tournament will start again on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.
- Springfield High School's Boys Varsity basketball team hosts Interboro Senior High School in the Tip Off Tournament on Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. The tournament will resume on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.
- Springfield High School's Boys Varsity ice hockey team will compete against Conestoga Senior High School on Friday, Dec. 9 at 9:30 p.m.Ice Works will host the match.
- Springfield High School's Boys Varsity indoor track will compete at Lehigh University on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8:30 a.m.
- Springfield High School's Girls Varsity indoor track team will compete at Lehigh University on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 4:30 p.m.
- Springfield High School's Boys Varsity wrestling team will compete at Avon Grove High School on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 9 p.m.
