Obituary: Janice T. McLean

Springfield Great Grandmother Dies at 84. Relatives and friends are invited to Monday evening viewing.

Mrs. Janice T. (nee Trunk) McLean, 84, of  Springfield, PA died on September 13, 2012 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA.

Born in Ardmore she was a graduate of Lower Merion High School.  She was a resident of Springfield for over 55 years.  Mrs. McLean was a long time member of The Blue Church in Springfield. 

She was an avid Phillies fan and was also known for her knitting creations.  She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gordon G. McLean, two sons, Alan and David McLean, two daughters, Susan Molitoris and Barbara Grotyohann,  a sister, Barbara Cunerd, and 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, September 17, after 7:00 pm at the Kovacs Funeral Home, Inc., 530 W. Woodland Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064.  Also invited to a viewing on Tuesday at the funeral home after 9:00 am until the time of her memorial service at 10:00 am.

Interment will be in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.

Memorial gifts in her memory may be made to the American Parkinsons Disease, c/o Susan Curry, Ambulatory Care Pavillion, Crozer Chester Medical Center, 1 Medical Center (Suite 533), Upland, PA 19013 or to the Ware Presbyterian Village, 7 E. Locust St., Oxford, PA 19363.
