Springfield Township Care Package Drive 2012

Support our military by donating a care package.

 


Springfield Township is kicking off its 2012 Care Package Drive.

You can support our troops by making up a care package of items and dropping it off in the lobby of any of the five Springfield School District Schools or the Springfield Township Building.

Donations are being collected now through November 17, 2012. 

Below is a list of some items requested for donation:

Personal Care Items

  • International Phone Cards (AT&T)
  • AA & AAA Batteries
  • DVDs and CDs (new or used)
  • Games, playing cards, checkers, poker chips
  • Stationary, envelopes, and pens
  • Eye drops
  • Benadryl Cream/Hydrocortisone cream
  • Sun Screen
  • Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Pain reliever
  • Razors
  • Tootbrushes and Tooth paste
  • Socks (crew or boot socks in white, green, or black)
  • T-shirts (white, all cotton)
  • Boot laces, 72", brown or tan
  • Single-use disposable 35mm cameras

Non-perishable Food and Snacks

  • Trail mix, nuts, and dried fruits
  • Beef jerky 
  • Microwave popcorn
  • Protein bars and snack bars
  • Single-serving meals in styrofoam cups or ready-to-eat dishes 
  • Tastykakes
  • Candy and gum
  • Cereal
  • Granola, cookies, pretzels, chips
