Springfield Woman Robbed While Sitting in Car

The woman was sitting at a convenience store parking lot with her child in the car.

Radnor Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Springfield woman as she sat in her car in the parking lot of a Bryn Mawr 7-11 store.

Radnor Police say the woman's purse was stolen as she and her child sat in her car in the parking lot of  a 7-11 in Bryn Mawr around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10.

According to police, a white man in his 20's or 30's, with a skinny build, white/gray t-shirt and blue jeans approached her in the driver's side window and requested a cigarette to be lighted. The woman signaled "no" and the man walked away.

But soon after, the same man went around the 7-11 and then rushed the passenger side door, entering the car and taking her brown Coach Bag that included a wallet and other items. He was last seen running into the center of the Home Properties of Bryn Mawr, but was not found.

If you have information on this crime, call Radnor Police at 610-688-0500.
