Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Check out these great local and regional events.

Dr. Dolittle

  • When: Friday, Jan. 4 - Sunday, Jan. 6
  • Where: The Media Theatre
  • Why Go: This is your last chance to see the musical Dr. Dolittle at the Media Theatre.  There are a few more performances.  Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
  • Cost:$37 - $54

Volunteer Opportunity

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 6 from 9:30 a.m. - Noon
  • Where: Tyler Arboretum
  • Why Go: Help mother nature and Tyler Arboretum by helping to remove alien thugs from Tyler’s woodlands and meadows.  Wear appropriate work clothes, sturdy shoes or boots and work gloves.
  • Cost: Free

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. - Noon
  • Where:Temple Sholom, 55 Church Ln, Broomall
  • Why Go: Ryan Wexelblatt, the Founder and Director of Camp Sequoia and Sequoia Kids Program which serve children and adolescents who present with social learning needs will speak on improving the social skills and social thinking skills for children diagnosed with ADHD, Asperger's and high-functioning autism spectrum diagnoses.
