Why Go: The Springfield Inn is hosting the premier dance party band, Deja Groove this Friday night.  Welcomed back by popular demand, this high-energy band captures the best versions of songs you love and adds their own special touch!

When: Saturday, June 30 from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.

Where: Fort Fitness, 1260 E. Woodland Ave. Ste 32

Why Go: Get in shape with an intense strength training workout followed by a core, abs, hips and back workout. Participants will have the opportunity to focus on speed, agility and endurance. This workout consists of 30 minutes of boot camp, 30 minutes of kettleballs and 30 minutes of core training.

When: Saturday, June 30 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Why Go: Michaels Arts & Crafts presents a ruffle yarn demo.  This adult only event will introduce participants to the craft of yarn.  Show off your creativity this weekend.

Why Go: Sandra Webberking Studio presents the Artist Studio & Garden Open Tour 2012.  Come and enjoy the variety of sculpture and garden designs.  Rain dates will take place the Sunday after the scheduled event.

Why Go: Join St. Matthew Lutheran Church for an afternoon of uniquely American music. The Springfield community is invited to the annual summer concert.  Joe Smith and his Classics of Dixieland Band will be performing. Refreshments will be served following the performance!

Price: A free will offering will be taken to benefit the Life Center of Delaware County
