Local Co. Seeks Sandy Relief Donations Now

A Springfield restaurant is sending a truckload of food to Staten Island on Monday and they're hoping to take donated clothing and other items too.

A Springfield business is looking for donations to take to Hurricane Sandy victims and recovery workers on Monday, November 12.

Springfield Pasta Company will be sending a truck to Staten Island this Monday November 12th to give away hot pasta lunches to the volunteers and needy families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

An announcement on the company's facebook page says "since we're heading up there with our large truck, there will be plenty of room for supplies to give to displaced families."

Springfield Pasta Company will be collecting donations at its retail shop at 186 Saxer Avenue in Springfield on Saturday Nov 10th from 9am - 6pm and Sunday Nov 11th from 9am - 2pm

They are looking for the following items: New undergarments, new socks, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, and new toys for children
