Love for Springfield

Carboni's appreciation of what Springfield has to offer lead her to move back to the area after college. She currently resides in the township with her husband who is an English teacher at Sun Valley High School.

"When you’re young and in high school, it seems difficult to imagine that you might end up in the very place you started," said Carboni. "When we were looking to buy a house, I started thinking about how much I loved my childhood and Springfield Township.  It was an easy decision for us."

The Art of Teaching

Carboni sincerely believes in the art of teaching as a medium for expressing herself and helping students to learn how to express themselves.

"For me, not being a teacher would feel like I’m not expressing myself in the best way I know how," said Carboni. "My father’s borrowed mantra is, 'find a job that feels like play and you’ll never work a day in your life.'  What great advice for a young person!"
