SomeTHING Special in Springfield this Weekend

It's a who's Who of Seuss on stage at St. Francis and a musical of biblical proportions at St. Kevin.

 

A colorful feast feast for the eyes is back for a second and final weekend of Seussical at St. Francis Church on Saxer Avenue this weekend.

The St. Francis Players musical production, which features actors of all ages from the very young to the veteran of veterans, is on stage in the St Francis Parish Community Hall. The show features amazing, custom-made sets and a live pit orchestra.

The shows are Friday and Saturday and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Godspell, Jr. at St. Kevin's

Also on stage for a final weekend this weekend is the Catholic Community Choir's production of Godspell, Jr.. Performed "in the round" (actually it's in a square) at St. Kevin's Catholic Parish on Sproul Road in Springfield.
