Springfield Actress in Freckleface Strawberry, The Musical

Stacy DiCandilo of Springfield will play the character of Emily.

Upper Darby Summer Stage is bringing “Freckleface Strawberry, The Musical” to Delaware County.

Stacy DiCandilo of Springfield will play the character of Emily.

Performances are on July 31, August 1 and 2 at 10:30am and on August 1 at 7:30pm. The show is approximately 70 minutes and is ideal for ages 4 and up.

Tickets are $6-$9 and may be purchased at the Box Office, by calling 610.622.1189 or online at www.udpac.org. The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center is located in Drexel Hill at 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, minutes from the Main Line and Center City. Parking is free.

According to Summer Stage, "Freckleface Strawberry (Zoe Bock of Swarthmore) will do anything to get rid of her freckles – from scrubbing them with soap, to caking on makeup, and even wearing a ski mask to school! With the help of her lovable schoolmates including Jake (Danny Walsh of Aldan), Jane (Victoria Donnelly of Havertown), her mother (Angelique Bruce of Drexel Hill) and their totally kooky teacher (Ben Bittner of Aston), Freckleface learns that everyone is different – and that’s what makes everyone special!"

Children are invited to come early for pre-show activities before the morning performances, and stay after the show to meet the cast members! Free babysitting is offered for those too young to enjoy the show quietly.

The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center and Upper Darby Summer Stage are jointly sponsored by the Upper Darby Township Mayor and Council and the Upper Darby School District Board of Directors through the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services.
