Launching your own business is like no other experience. It’s a risk, both financially and professionally. From the latest tech start-ups, to decades-old family-run shops, these businesses each have their own experiences and insights into the greater community of Springfield.

For business owners, we want the column to serve as a guide, helping you better understand the entrepreneur’s mistakes, and triumphs, on their journey to building a thriving business. For other readers, taking a peek into the inner workings of some of their favorite locally-owned businesses will be an eye-opener. It’s our hope that everyone will be able to take these stories of local businesses, and see how they fit into the economics of our township, state and country.

We’re eager to hear from any business with a story to tell. If you’re interested in being featured in “Springfield’s Business,” or if you have a suggestion about a business you would like to read about, let us know in the comment area below or send us an email.

Stay Patched-in as we explore the area's best local businesses, new and old.
