Blood Drive at Delaware County Memorial Hospital

Delaware County Memorial Hospital, in conjunction with the New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS), a division of New York Blood Center, will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday, July 29, from 1 to 7 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A & C of the hospital (first floor), located at 501 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill.

To make an appointment to donate, please call (610) 284-8630 or visit www.tinyurl.com/DelawareCounty1. Please remember to eat, drink and bring ID on the day of the blood drive.

One in three people will need blood sometime during their lives, and the blood that is donated and collected throughout Crozer-Keystone Health System goes to patients being treated right here in Delaware County.

Most healthy people who are at least 16 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate every 56 days. There is no substitute for human blood. Blood lasts only 42 days, so your donation is critically important.

For information about donating blood and for questions about qualifying to become a blood donor, call 1-800-933-2566 or visit www.nybloodcenter.org
