The Philadelphia Jug Band in Concert

A favorite at the yearly Philadelphia Folk Festival since the mid-60s, The Philadelphia Jug Band will play a foot stomping, acoustic show live at The Vault, an intimate entertainment space, at Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne, PA, on Friday, July 25th at 7 p.m.  Band members Jim Klingler, guitar, vocals and jug, Frank Zemlan, guitar and vocals, Bob Beach, mouth harp (harmonica) and vocals, Dave Gauck, washtub, bass and jug, and Steven Miller, washboard, vocals and kazoo, play traditional jug band tunes and newer ones adapted to the genre. These Grammy nominated musicians have a fun, casual style that’s a perfect match for the up close and personal performance space.  This is a limited seating show with only 45 seats available. Tickets are $12 and are available here or in person at Vinyl Revival in advance and up to show time. This is a BYOB and bring your own snacks event.
