This news outlet is supposed to be local to Mt Airy. You left out a huge event right here on Sunday-- the Mt Airy Village Fair. At Greene and Carpenter from 11 am to 4 pm. Why such emphasis on the suburbs in this list?
Pam Chaplin-Loebell September 21, 2012 at 12:50 PM
I read this on Mt Airy Patch not Springfield. So I did not expect my comments to appear on Springfield Patch. The suburban events make sense for Springfield Patch site, but that is not where I read it.

Spending time in a park this weekend? Please take note! The PA House is trying to quietly slip through a bill that will open the door for local and county governments to sell public parkland. If you'd like to sign, go to change.org and search: "The Governor of PA: Reject House Bill 2224" Or copy/paste this link into your browser: http://www.change.org/petitions/the-governor-of-pa-reject-house-bill-2224 Thank you.
