Mrs. Dorothy T. (nee Torsell) Grochowski, 93, died on November 27, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA. She was a longtime resident of Delaware County.
She was born on January 26, 1920 to Joseph Francis Torsell
and Verna Palmer Torsell in Lock Haven, PA.
She was the third of seven children: Albert, Josephine Heinie, Verna,
William all deceased, survived by siblings David Torsell and Margaret Ziernicki.

She was married to the late Edward John Grochowski and is
survived by four children, Barbara Solis, Edward Grochowski, Marilyn Medina and Robert Grochowski, and six grandchildren, Christina, Jose, Claudia and Olivia Solis and Rachael and Andrea Grochowski.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution
and Catholic Daughters of America. She was an avid gardener and loved the various dogs in her life. She will be missed by Willie.

Relatives and friend are invited to her funeral Mass on
Tuesday, December 4, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
