Loving mother and grandmother

Mrs. Dorris E. (nee Pennington) Lenza, 88, died on November 15, 2012 in Vitas Hospice at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital, Yeadon, PA.

Born in Yeadon, Mrs. Lenza was a graduate of Yeadon High School.  She was a resident of Secane, PA from 1955 to 1990 until moving to Cochranville, PA.  In 1997 she moved to Norwood, PA.

Dorris was the proprietor of Collector's Choice at the former Village Mall Antique Shop in Morton and worked for Filacheck's Furniture in Avondale.  She was a former member of St. Eugene's in Primos and current member of St. Gabriel's in Norwood.  She also volunteered for the American Red Cross in West Grove, PA.

She is survived by her two sons, Damon (Rosanne) Lenza of Media and Kevin Lenza of Spingfield two grandchildren, Kristen and Matthew Lenza, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony S. Lenza, in 1991 and brother, Raymond Pennington 1989, and sister Mae Serrano in 1983.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, November 23, 7:00 - 9:00PM at the Kovacs Funeral Home, Inc., 530 W. Woodland Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064.  Also invited to her viewing on Saturday, November 24, after 9:30 AM at St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064 until the time of her funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
