Restaurant Review: Carrabba's Italian Grill

Are you looking to try a new restaurant in Springfield? Want to find out what locals are saying about Carrabba's Italian Grill?

Carrabba's Italian Grill is a chain restaurant that was started by Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, two Texans with Italian roots.

"Italians have been grilling for centuries," says Mandola on the Carrabba's website. Italian food is much more varied than the spaghetti and red sauce that has come to represent Italian food in America. Grilled and roasted meats and fish are very popular in Italy. As for our recipes, some were my mother's and my grandmother's, and many, I created myself."

Carrabba's goal is to serve fresh, flavorful food. You can view facts about their ingredients on their website.  They offer seasonal specials and a 5 for $5 Happy Hour menu.
