Target

I am not sure if people know this...I know I didn't.... My info was breached on my redcard from Target (along with 5 million others??) on Dec 31.  I immediately contacted Target to let them know that I did not make that purchase and was assurred I would not be liable.  I cancelled the card, contacted my bank to stop payment and thought I was done. (except for carefully checking my credit scores since I have no idea what other info these people have!)  Today I recieved a letter from Target saying I should have filed a police report and without them I WILL be liable, both for the amount and the $20 stop payment fee.   So now I have to bother our local police and request a report in order to end this.  Target is not only inconveniencing me, they also want me to bother the police and have them write up this report.  People should know that Target's assurances of 0 liability isn't really true.  I like their stores and their prices, but after this, I am done being a target customer.  Beware.
