$10K in Jewelry Taken from Home

The resident had been away from her home and at the shore since July.

A resident from the 600 block of E. Springfield Rd. reported on Nov. 6 that sometime since July 4 someone entered her apartment and stole a large quantity of jewelry from the master bedroom of the apartment.

The resident had been at the shore during this time period and there were no signs of forced entry at the apartment.

The jewelry was valued in excess of $10,000.

The incident is under investigation by Detective Daniel McNeely.
