9 Vehicles Vandalized Last Weekend

Residents from several neighborhoods reported that their automobiles had been keyed overnight.

Residents from several neighborhoods reported to Feb. 5 that sometime during the night the sides of their automobiles were keyed while they were parked on the street in front of their homes. There was significant damage found to the vehicles’ paint.

Five vehicles parked in the 400 block of Wheatsheaf Road, two vehicles parked in the alley in the rear of the homes in the 300 block of Ballymore Road and two vehicles parked in the 300 block of Prospect Road were keyed, according to a police report.

The incidents are under investigation by Detective Sgt. John DiTrolio.

Springfield Police ask all residents to check their vehicles and report any damage that may have occurred during this time period. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Springfield Police Detective Division at 610-544-6903.
