Blotter: $36,000 in iPhones Stolen

A basketball hoop and hammock at a home on Saxer Avenue were vandalized and windows were smashed at the Piazza Dealership.

Basketball Hoop, Hammock Vandalized at Saxer Avenue Home

August 9: A resident from the Unit Block of Saxer Avenue reported that sometime during the night someone damaged a basketball hoop and cut the lines to the hammock in the rear yard of the home.

Registration Plate Stolen Vehicle Parked On Sherman Road

August 9: A resident from the 600 block of Sherman Road reported that sometime over the last few days someone stole the registration plate from her vehicle while it was parked on the street in front of the home.

$36,000 in iPhones Stolen From Sprint PCS Store

August 10: responded to a burglar alarm at the Store in the 1100 block of Baltimore Pike. Patrolman Andrew Graff arrived to find the front door smashed out and the interior ransacked. Further investigation showed that a large quantity of iPhones had been stolen. The loss is valued in excess of $36,000. The incident is under investigation by Detective Bridget McCarthy.

Windows Smashed At Piazza Dealership

August 10: While on patrol in the 700 block of Baltimore Pike, Patrolman Andrew Graff observed a window on a door and a side window to the service entrance smashed to the Piazza Car Dealership. The building is currently undergoing renovations.
