Blotter: $450 Bike Stolen from Shed

Plus: A $650 phone is stolen from a store.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Theft—Unit block of West Avenue at 6:34  p.m. on Jan. 12. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked shed and stole a white, ladies Schwinn bike. The shed was located in the rear yard of the home. The bike was valued at $450.

Retail Theft—Galaxy 8 Store in the Springfield Mall between 12:30 and 1 p.m. on Jan. 12. An employee reported that someone stole a Samsung Galaxy cellular phone from an office in the rear of the store. The phone was valued at $650.
