Blotter: American Flag Stolen from Yard

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft—300 block of Spring Valley Road at about 11:29 a.m. on Jan. 15. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone stole the American Flag and pole attachment from the front of his home. The flag was valued at $50.

Criminal Mischief—300 block of W. Leamy Avenue between 10 and 10:16 p.m. on Jan. 15. A resident reported that someone threw a rock through the first floor living room window of the home.
