Car Stolen from Springfield Home's Driveway

Police Blotter also has details of an expensive laptop stolen from a car in an unrelated incident.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft—Rodeway Inn in the 600 block of Baltimore Pike on Nov. 12. A Mechanicsburg, Pa. resident reported that someone entered her room and stole a car key, perfume, and various articles of clothing. There were no signs of any forced entry.

Car Theft—100 block of E. Springfield Road at about 6:06 a.m. on Nov. 15. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone stole her blue 2007 Nissan Quest from the rear driveway of the home. The victim also reported that her wallet was inside of the vehicle at the time of the theft. The wallet contained various forms of identification and two credit cards. The cards were cancelled before they could be used.

Theft—an apartment building on the 500 block of Stidman Drive at about 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 15. A New Hope resident reported that sometime during the previous weekend someone entered his unlocked truck and stole his business laptop computer from the rear seat while the vehicle was parked in front of the building. The laptop was valued at $1,100.
