Blotter: GPS, Ear Phones Stolen from Vehicles

Plus: An iPhone was stolen from the pool area at Springfield Health Plex.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen Property—Springfield Health Plex in the 100 block of W. Sproul Road between 4 and 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 24. A Swarthmore resident reported that someone stole his Apple iPhone from the pool area. The phone was valued at $500.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle—800 block of Garrett Lane at about 11:12 a.m. on Nov. 25. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a pair of radio ear phones while the vehicle was parked on the street in front of the apartment building. The ear phones were valued at $50.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle—100 block of Bellvue Avenue at about 12:38 p.m. on Nov. 25. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a Garmin GPS Unit while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home. The GPS device was valued at $100.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle—parking lot at Church Road Park in the 1200 block of Church Road between 3:30 and 8:39 p.m. on Nov. 25. A Springfield resident reported that someone forcibly entered his vehicle and stole a Garmin GPS Unit. Entry was gained to the vehicle by smashing the front passenger side window of the vehicle. The GPS device was valued at $150.
