Grill, Signs, Compressor Stolen From Homes

Springfield Police Blotter: A rash of thefts all had one thing in common.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Theft—500 block of W. Springfield Rd. at about 9:55 a.m. on Oct. 16. A resident reported that sometime during the night someone stole a gas grill from the side of the home. The grill was valued in excess of $350.

Theft—900 block of Edgewood Dr. between 7 and 11:03 p.m. on Oct. 16. A resident reported that someone stole political signs from the front lawn of the home.

Theft—200 block of Rambling Way around 6:48 a.m. on Oct. 19. A resident reported that someone stole an air compressor with its hoses and fittings from the driveway of the home. The victim placed the items in the driveway to take them to a job. The items were valued in excess of $450.
