Teens Charged With Stealing From Macy’s
August 27: Security reported that they had a young male and a young female in custody for Retail Theft at the store. Patrolman Andrew McKinney responded and took a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, both from Upper Darby, into custody and transported them to the . They were both issued citations for Retail Theft for taking a total of $96 worth of merchandise from the store. They were both later released to relatives. The incident is under investigation by Detective Robert Nutley.
Wayne Avenue Resident Reports Bike Theft
August 27: A resident from the 200 block of Wayne Avenue reported that sometime between noon and 7:24 p.m. someone stole her yellow colored Haro bike from the rear yard of the home. The bike is valued at $150.
Blackberry Stolen From Vehicle on Hillview Drive
August 28: A resident from the 100 block of Hillview Drive reported that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his Blackberry cellular phone while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
