Blotter: Thieves Target Hospital Vending Machine, Skateboard, Clothes, Cash

Fence Knocked Down

July 16: A resident from the 700 block of W. Rolling Road reported that sometime during the night someone knocked over a large portion of the fence in the rear yard of the home.

Neon Skateboard Stolen From Bike Rack Behind Target

July 16: A Wallingford youth reported that sometime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.  someone stole his neon colored skateboard from the bike rack in front of the store in the . The skateboard was not secured at the time of the theft. The item is valued at $200.

Money Stolen From Springfield Hospital Vending Machine

July 16: Security reported that sometime over the last 24 hours someone forcibly entered a food vending machine and stole a large quantity of coins. The machine is located on the ground floor of the hospital.

$1,000 Worth of Clothes Stolen From New York & Co.

July 16: The New York & Company Store in the reported that sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 8:59 p.m. someone stole a large quantity of clothing from the display table in the front of the store. The items are valued in excess of $1,000.

Target Security Reports Thief Taking From Register

July 16: Security in the reported that they had a female in custody for stealing cash from her register on four different occasions. The loss is valued at $420. Patrolman Scott Francis responded and took a 25-year-old Yeadon woman into custody and transported her to the Springfield Police Station. She was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking & Receiving Stolen Property. The incident is under investigation by Detective Daniel McNeely.
