Computer Stolen in Daytime Home Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A resident from the 600 block of W. Rolling Road reported that sometime between 10 a.m. and 1:14 p.m. on Dec. 14. someone forcibly entered his home through a rear door. The investigation showed that several rooms inside the home had been rummaged through.

A laptop computer and several pieces of jewelry were missing.

The incident is under investigation by Detective Daniel McNeely.
