Cops: Jewelry Stole from E. Springfield Road Home

The suspect entered through an unlocked door, police said.

A Springfield woman reported that multiple pieces of jewelry were stolen from her E. Springfield Road home, police said.

Police said a resident from the 400 block of E. Springfield Road reported that sometime between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and 1:45 p.m. Dec. 25, someone entered her home through an unlocked rear glass sliding door.

Police said that, once inside, the suspect or suspects stole numerous pieces of jewelry from a bedroom on the second floor of the home.

Detective Sgt. John DiTrolio is handling the investigation.
