Fence Damaged, Grill Mysteriously Moves

A resident from the 500 block of E. Scenic Road reported July 2 at 9:22 p.m. that sometime overnight someone damaged a portion of the fence in the rear yard of her home and also moved the gas grill to another location on the rear patio.

Vehicle Covered in Shaving Cream

A resident from the 1000 block of Edwards Drive reported that sometime overnight on July 2 someone spread shaving cream all over his vehicle while it was parked on the street in front of the home.

Aluminum Stolen from Home

The Aqua Company in the 700 block of W. Sproul Road reported that sometime between June 20 and July 2 someone stole 25 aluminum shield plates from the rear storage area of the property. The items are valued more than $3,500.

Shirt Thief Flees

in the reported July 3 at 11:13 a.m. that a man just fled the store without paying for a shirt from a display in the front of the store. The area was checked but the thief was gone. The shirt is valued at $21.95.

Lights Stolen from Home

A West Avenue resident reported that sometime overnight on July 5 someone stole three purple-colored globe lights from the front yard of the home.

Play Station Lifted at Best Buy

’s security reported that a man and woman fled the store with a stolen Play Station game system from a display on July 5 at 7:09 p.m. The woman had the item in her pocketbook. They entered a silver-colored vehicle and fled the lot onto Baltimore Pike. The area was checked but the thieves and vehicle were gone. The system is valued at $300. Detective Robert Nutley is handling the investigation.

Video Games Thieves Get Away

Best Buy’s security reported that two women were attempting to leave the store without paying for several video games on July 5 at 8:55 p.m. A silver-colored vehicle was seen fleeing the store at a high speed. A description was broadcast but the vehicle was not located. The investigation showed that the thieves stole a large quantity of video games and fled the store in the vehicle waiting outside. The incident is under investigation by Detective Robert Nutley.
