Springfield House Ransacked, Police Report

Resident returns home to disturbing scene.

 

According to report from Springfield Police, a homeowner on the 400 block of North Rolling Road reported being robbed sometime betwen 4:15 and 11:08 p.m. on March 7.

Police say an investigation showed no sign of forced entry but bedrooms on the second floor of the house were ransacked.

"A large quantity of jewelry, a large amount of cash, and two televisions are known to have been stolen," according to police.

It was the second report of a home robbery on the same day. According to police a homeowner in a second incident scared off a robber who was inside his house. Police are still searching for suspected in that case also.
