The Springfield Police Department has investigated the following reports of theft.

A 53-year-old woman from Upper Darby was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property after Macy's reported to police that she stole $291.00 worth of merchandise from the store on July 22.

A 23-year-old Media man was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property after Target reported that he took $199.99 worth of merchandise from the store on July 22.

Three  teenagers were cited for Retail Theft for taking a total of $39.50 worth of merchandise from Claire's Boutique on July 23. They were two 16-year-olds from Prospect Park and a 17-year-old from Ridley Park.

A 17-year-old from Essington was cited for Retail Theft for reportedly taking $51.04 worth of merchandise from Target on July 27.
