Theft Reported at Springfield Library
Police say someone apparently checked out an unsuspecting man's wallet.
The following police blotter information was provided by Springfield Police.
Theft—Springfield Library between 4:15 and 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 6. A Springfield resident reported that he was at the library reading with his son in the children's section and his wallet must have fallen out of his pocket. The victim was notified that the wallet was recovered in the library. But the victim reported that a moderate sum of cash had been taken from the wallet before it was recovered.
