TruMark Bank in Springfield Robbed

A lone man entered the bank, waited in line, and later escaped on foot, police said.

TruMark Federal Credit Union was robbed Thursday, police said.

A lone man entered the bank, at 1141 Baltimore Pike, at about 1:41 p.m. Thursday, police said, and waited in line. When it was his turn, he handed the teller a note demanding cash.

The man received an undisclosed amount of money, and last was seen running on foot toward Oakdale Place.

An older brown Chevrolet pickup truck was seen on Oakdale Place just before the robbery, police said.

The robber was described as light-skinned black male in his 20s, about 5'10" tall, with a medium build and light facial hair. He was wearing dark clothing with a black-and-white scarf around his face.
