Van Stolen While Delivery Made to Dealership

The delivery van was parked on the auto dealership lot and contained a large amount of cash, police say.

The following information was supplied by the Springfield Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Stolen Vehicle—Conicelli Auto Dealership in the 800 block of Baltimore Pike between 8:40 and 9:08 a.m. on Jan. 29. A delivery driver reported that someone stole his work van while he was making a delivery at the dealership. The van was parked on the lot near the service area of the business.

The van has no windows and contained a large amount of cash, a Garmin GPS Unit, an iPhone, credit cards and identification.

Further investigation determined that the credit cards had been used at two locations in Philadelphia.

The incident is under investigation by Detective James Devaney.
