Wanted Man Captured at Springfield Hotel

Springfield Police say a tip led them to a wanted man staying at the Days Inn on Baltimore Pike.

According to police officers went to the hotel shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday. Police say they confirmed the man was staying at the hotel but he was not there at the moment. A short time later police say he was seen entering his room.

According to police "officers knocked on the door and advised the (36-year-old Clifton heights man) that he was under arrest on a warrant from the Delaware County Court for a probation violation. A search of the room showed a quantity of suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia."
