Tea Party Express to Stop in Springfield

If you're looking for a jolt of politics, Wal-Mart will be the place to be.

The Tea Party Express is stopping its bus tour in Springfield Thursday evening.

The event will be held outside the Wal-Mart on 400 South State Rd. in Springfield, PA at 5 p.m.

The Tea Party Express chairwoman Amy Kremer made some headlines this week for remarks questioning President Barack Obama’s love for America.

The Tea Party Express Mobile Phone Bank Bus is currently on an 81-Day Get-Out-The Vote tour that is scheduled to stop in 23 states that are the key battlegrounds for the 2012 election.

Local tea party volunteers will be going aboard the bus to utilize its state-of-the-art technology to make phone calls to registered voters. The bus is equipped with 15 workstations, each with its own laptop and phone.
