Two Baltimore Pike Dealers Want More Signs

Two Springfield car dealerships are seeking Zoning Board approval this week.

Looking to boost their presence on Baltimore Pike, two separate car dealership seek permission for new signs.

Meeting a week early due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Springfield Zoning Board of Adjustment will hear two cases Nov. 15 regarding sign applications.

Spencer Chevrolet, located at 840 Baltimore Pike, originally sought a new sign at the October zoning hearing but requested a continuance. On Thursday, the car dealership will request additional accessory signage.

Just down the road on the 700 block of Baltimore Pike, Springfield Hyundai, similarly requests signage permission from the zoning board. The sign is proposed for 780 Baltimore Pike at the former Rothrock Automotive Group site.

The ZBA meets 7:30 p.m. at the Springfield Township Building, 50 Powell Road.
