Diabetes Refresher Course

Our refresher class is a follow up class for the graduates of our diabetes program. Programs are lead by a registered nurse and registered dietician. Both are certified in diabetes education.

Our Basic Refresher class will "refresh" or energize your diabetes self-managemet program.

We will update you on the newest in diabetes management as well as blood glucose patterns, exercise and medications.

The dietician will:

  • Update Meal Plan
  • Are you putting your carbohydrate skills into practice?
  • How do the foods you choose affect your blood sugar and your weight?

Attendees are encouraged to bring food and blood sugar logs, as well as your favorite food labels for an interactive discussion.

Registration Details

Registration is required. This course is held the first Tuesday of every month.

Fees & Payment

The Center for Diabetes accepts most major insurance plans. Many class registration fees are also covered by insurance.
