O'Hara Girls Win Catholic League Title

It's the first league title for the Lady Lions in five years.

The Cardinal O'Hara varsity girls basketball team is the Catholic League Champion after taking the title game 31-25 over Archbishop Wood.

“We’ve come together and being here — and being able to win it here — feels so good,” senior forward Shanice Johnson told the Delaware County Daily Times. “We fought together. At the end of the day, we deserved it.”

A full report with quotes from the players and coach is on the Delco Times website.
