Looking for a local run this May?
May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month so the "Mom’s of Young Children" group of are participating in a 5K walk at Ridley Creek State Park to benefit brain tumor research on May 12.
Look for purple shirts as "Team Serenity" runs with hope for Serenity Fowler, a four-year-old member of the community who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
There are also number of races happening across the region, including 5Ks for dogs, races for moms and daughters, and a half-marathon for the "odd" among us.
