Cars, Crosses Stolen from Springfield Car Dealer, Church

Read some of the crimes that police are investigating.

Springfield Police are investigating the theft of two cars from the Springfield Mitsubishi Car Dealership in the 300 block of Baltimore Pike that took place during the night of August 6.

According to police, sometime during the night someone broke into the business and stole a tire from a car and also stole two cars from the storage lot a silver-colored 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander and a blue-colored 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander.

The dealership was entered by smashing the windows in the service bays.

During the night of August 6 someone stole 47 crosses from the side yard of the rectory of the St. Francis Of Assisi Church in the 100 block of Saxer Avenue. A few of the crosses were later located in Wagner Wayside Park on Saxer Avenue, police reported.
